Venice Pizza Bar & Restaurant - Albany

A group of us came to eat. kind welcome and we were immediately brought to our table. it's byo, whatever's good. I don't think there's a leash. I had the crablinguin who had a nice taste and was a big one. only small criticism is that the pasta was somewhat over boiled. the bark cheeks were popular and looked really nice, again a great part. the waiting staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was pleased to share the bill at the end.

We ordered the bark tortellini first the bevels were clobig and not cooked by, there were no pine nuts, a few pieces spinat and the sauce was tasteless! we also ordered the carbonara and unfortunately it was also terrible, not creamy very dry, mushrooms gummy and again swirling chunky and not cooked by. the garlic bread was the only decent product that we could order and eat, we ended up with the bond of pasta, as we cannot. also given that it has been taken away, they do not get any seasoned salt, pepper, parmesan, cutlery, serviettes etc!

Our meals were okay, not at first good, but also not bad. the parmigiana was tender enough and had a nice tomato sauce, but it was crushed in cheese some people love that some people hate it, I am on the middle of the zaun and found there a little too much. it was busy isch and the personal was not very attentive (not a deal breaker, but still a bit annoying to wait 15 minutes for a bottle of water). Overall, I would look at some of the other places in albany before I come here.

Honestly if you are ever in Albany then you need to come and eat at this awesome restaurant! Guy runs a tight ship and makes sure your dining experience is second to none! Food portions are outstanding and the quality of the food is to die for! Came here two years ago and it’s still top notch! Absolutely delicious! Thanks again Guy and the crew! Respect to a good family run restaurant and reasonable pricing!
