The Ginger Man - Albany

Food and service were great. It wasn't here in a few years. But it was just as good as before, which is very good.

The Gingerman was sold and closes soon. It was excellent on his day and was a go-to-date night and after work drinks meeting place. My last meal was not a representative of the excellent restaurant that was. There were very few people eating and eating was mediocre, but still price as if it were the excellent fare that was once served there. Sad, a place that has seen better days.

My husband and I chose The Ginger Man for positive reviews and an interesting menu. We were awarded great food in a very comfortable environment!

Good overall, a little on the pricier side but pricing matches value of offerings. I went to Ginger Man after finding it on Yelp. Yelp was a bit misleading according to the photos. It seemed more casual on Yelp.

The paella has been a favorite of mine for years. It is a bit spicier than other places I've had it, but I go for heat. The short rib burger is one of the tastiest in Albany.
