What a great place for great lunch and conversation.
Great ambience piano music was a nice touch. Food was good and service was also good.
We went to celebrate Valentines Day and found it very busy. We were seated in a crowded area and found the service to be average. They had a special Valentine's day menu which was limited to just 6 or 8 selections for the appetizer, main course and desserts. Given the limited menu, I thought the food was just average and the portions were rather small. The dinner rolls were cold, the lobster bisque was bland and the fillet and lobster tail (which was extra) came with only 1/2 of the lobster tail. The filet was good, but the food was not very hot. We have tried it twice now on Valentine's day and found it to be mediocre at best both times. Dinner for two with two drinks and tip came to $200.
Very good, however we were there on Valentines Night (we had reservations) with friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary and the wife ordered the scallop dish and there were a few greens and what appeared to be 1 scallop cut into 3. Her plate literally had only 3 thin slices of scallops and some greens. I shared my meal with her as I had the Filet and lobster tail which came with mashed potatoes. My husband and I have eaten at your restaurant previously when it wasn't a holiday and loved the food. Otherwise the staff were extremely friendly and we had just the right amount of time to enjoy our time together, appetizers through to dessert and coffee.
