New World Bistro Bar - Albany

I am a vegan and this was the first time trying the restaurant and I was quite pleased. After eating at many amazing vegan restaurants in major cities like Boston and NYC, this compares to many of those. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the blue crusted seitan cutlets with rice, black beans, yams, and collards, which was absolutely divine and enough to even share with someone. Started out with the blackened green beans and brussel sprout trio...which was completely cleaned out. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are vegan or vegetarian... I imagine the meat eaters out there would Enjoy the flavors and spices in their cooking as well.

Enjoyed a scrumptious dinner starting off with a blood orange cosmo and the chicken liver pate appetizer (beyond delicious! . Salad with grilled salmon for my entree- perfect combination, so good! Our waitress was charming and professional. Hope to return in the near future- highly recommend!

We stopped in on a whim after googling 'Best **** Mary near me '. And we were not disappointed. Your staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. My boyfriend had the chicken N waffles...they were hands down one of the best we have ever had. I had the corn beef hash...it was amazing. Oh...and the **** Mary was perfect, too! We will be back.

Great fusion menu with so many GF options! Gluten free and vegan eaters will be thrilled as well as meat and gluten eaters.

If it’s slow they are open to an off the menu tasting menu. We just had it. They offered 5 courses including dessert. We were given a bonus course. It was epic. I live in NYC and will go to this restaurant every time I’m near.
