Johnny Carino's - Albany

Tonight for dinner with my friend, everything was great until we got our food, I have the gluten-free pasta that tasted as if it had been boiled in a dishwasher soap and the haw in both meals was terrible. I am not the kind of person to send my food back, but that was the worst pasta I have ever eaten. service was okay, but that's not somewhere I would ever recommend.

This used to be a favorite of ours for date night. Not so much any more. We waited at our table for 10 minutes before a server came. The tables are absolutely disgusting, the glasses were dirty, the silverware had crumbs wrapped up in the napkin too. If you're looking for a nice place in Albany Oregon to go eat, dont eat here.Thank you Allison for the excellent

Sunday, April 10th. Birthday lunch. 14 of us. Great food, not the worst service but close to it. We had to get our own silverware, never did get appetizer plates, had to ask for napkins. Actually had to ask for everything. It didn't spoil the party and I give a good (4+ stars) for the food. It'll be awhile before we go back.

Went out to dinner and picked out what I thought was a good deal. Johnny’s dinner for two… comes with an appetizer, two entrees and a desert. Awesome! 26.99 what a deal… fine print reads per person… didn’t see that till the bill. The manager was nice enough to give me a discount for not seeing that. So…. They hand me my desert and I started thinking…. If I get dinner for two for 26.99 a person why did I only get one desert? Per person would mean each person gets their own appetizer there own two entrees and their own desert…. Also their chicken tasted rotten. Maybe that was what smelt so bad in there. Should have went to Applebee’s. On the plus side our server was good.

A few colleagues and I traveled from Washington to do some work, and on our last day there, we stumbled upon this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the staff who seated us and handed us menus. Fresh bread and oil were placed on our table, and a friendly lady quickly took our drink orders, which arrived promptly. My boss ordered Jonny's plate, another colleague got the seafood plate, and I opted for the ravioli plate. The food was so delicious that we were all silenced while eating, a rare occurrence for us. The staff generously added freshly grated parmesan cheese to our meals, enhancing the flavors even more. Despite some previous comments about long wait times, we appreciated that good food takes time to prepare and enjoy, unlike fast food. We all agreed that the meals were excellent, perfectly portioned, and served on hot plates to keep the food warm. Our waitress was friendly, and the overall experience was fantastic. The clean interior of the restaurant created a comfortable atmosphere, and outside, there was seating around a beautiful fountain. There were so many enticing menu items that I would need a month to try them all. If I ever return to the state, I will definitely revisit this place—it was worth it. Thank you for the wonderful time and delicious food; I will make it a priority to come back soon. Remember to support local businesses, as they are the heart of a community.
