They are not only good friends to my family, but also active members of the Albany community. The food at Sybaris is top-notch, with my recent meal consisting of a delicious duck entree and a peanut cake covered in a fruit compote. The sauce on the duck was so incredible that I would have licked the plate if it was acceptable. For dessert, I enjoyed an Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Cake that reminded me of a PB&J sandwich. The staff at Sybaris is welcoming and offers a great selection of wines and cocktails to pair with your meal. I highly recommend visiting Sybaris in Historic Downtown Albany for a true fine dining experience. The restaurant offers vegetarian options and is wheelchair accessible, with ample parking options available. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere at Sybaris receive high marks from me.
I always enjoy dining at this restaurant! They constantly offer new dishes in addition to their classic favorites. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is wonderful. I typically dine here for dinner and expect to pay between $50-100 per person. I highly recommend trying the Sybaris Chocolate Hazelnut Cake.
This restaurant in Albany is the best. The table service is top-notch and the food is consistently amazing with a rotating menu, so you'll never get bored.
During my visit to see my eldest child for their birthday in town, we decided to kick off the celebration at Sybaris. It was a fantastic way to start the festivities. The food was so amazing that I felt like thanking the chef with a kiss. The chawan mushi was a wonderful twist on traditional Japanese comfort food. I particularly enjoyed the crispy rinkon and seaweed with a surprising touch of ginger. But the duck dish was outstanding! The rich duck breast with a mustardy sauce and cherries was so delicious that it made me want to kiss the chef. The server was also excellent - positive, energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable. I truly hope to be able to visit Sybaris again in the future.
I never have a bad experience at Sybaris for dinner! The service is top-notch, the meal type is dinner, and the price per person is $30–50. The food is a perfect 5, as well as the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the Escargot and the House-Made Valrhona Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream.
