Hot Spot Jamaican American Cuisine

This place is hot. Waiting can be longer than predicted, but it's worth it. Take a summit mounted at the New York Post items. It's a great place.

I love their food, they are one of the best Caribbean foods here in Albany. I could eat her jerk chicken every day. The only thing is that it is a little spicy, but with the Plantains and the Jamaican soda to help it go down, you cannot go wrong.

Best quality Caribbean food in the capital region. Near the authentic Caribbean as you are, you will be outside the five Boroughs.

Everything was absolutely delicious! Taste and everything. I ordered the small oxen tail plate and it was delicious, the curtains were on point and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also ordered the Mac and cheese that was 10/10. The sweet potato cake was good, but nothing revolutionary... back to the oxtail and the reasons I could not give a 5-star rating... There were bone fragments and splinters over which it was very difficult to eat and enjoy. I often had oxtail before and never experienced it like that... Maybe it's just a fuke or something, but it def has taken off the overall experience. Also for the price to get only 4 pieces of meat, although they were meaty, was also a little disappointing when I get a lot more meat at a lower cost from other places. But then others... I would give them def to go another as the flavors were all amazing! I probably would have forgotten the price and given 5 stars if I was actually able to eat the meat.

To be honest, I read the previous comments before trying the food at this restaurant and I just want to say this.. This restaurant has really made a turn around and I recommend.. no, I’m telling you to go there and see for yourself. Seems they added employees which made their service impressive and courteous. Ohh and the Rasta pasta is good. I got both so have your pick. Plus that large oxtail I had the next day from them went crazy (in a good way) lmao Improved chefs and cooking i would guess. Top 5 Places to eat in Albany. 4Stars because I’m a tough critic lol Really a 5 Though.
