Famous Dave's B-que - Alameda

Mom and I split a combo with ripening and a huge link. also, cornbread, mac cheese and drill. I had an ipa of hahn. it was all good. the high stools were nice and we sat with views of 3 large screens. great, famous dave. thanks ma (it is my birthday week).

I love Thai place. I live right across the street and like to stop in on sunny days and have a drink and a little snack, generally the margarita and the burnt ends. When I come I am always greeted by Andres or Anna they both remember what I like and get me taken care of. I should also mention the 2 managers there Sheri and Desiree, they both are always present.

Went in the other night and there was a line to the door luckily the manager Casey came over to us when we walked in and explained that the group that was there were all together and if we wanted to sit in the high tables that a server would be right over. Anna came right over and got us our drinks and our food order and we could not have been happier! If you go in ask if there is a server on for that day or not sometimes that makes things go a little faster. OH and try the burnt ends BOMB!!

Great food. Lots of space. Beautiful inside. Very helpful and attentive staff. Love that they have paper towel rolls on the table and their to go boxes come with foil for leftovers.

Before I begin I want you to know I really want famous Daves to do well and for the most part I enjoy myself I go there Yes sure. When I first left review I got long-winded so I change my mind. So this time I try to be More to the point. I went to celebrate the new year (SundayJanuary 2) there wasnt that many people but it was a long time before we or allowed to get a seat.2) my food was warm but not HOT (My Company since his food back to be made HOT told me that is one of the reasons he is reluctant to come there because the food is warm but not HOT As it should be for barbecue. But he went there hoping it would be different and because of me. 3 My Texas brisket seem to be 95% fat I have experienced that more than once. I wanted to mention this while we were there to get some compensation for it but my company was in a hurry. So I telephone to let the voicemail and I also talk to someone claiming to be the Manager. She says sorry about that but you shouldve asked for the lien cut brisket is served it was fat so you should kind of expect that Ha! Im gonna let you know something I dont know anyone who would expect to have something that is mostly fat weather is Texas brisket or anything else I would expect the brisket to have some fat yes but not what I was served. Now Again I really like famous Daves barbecue the atmosphere and I want famous Daves barbecue to do very well man where the location is. And because of the lockdown situation I understand some things may be slow but never hurts to let you know how one feels in order to help you improve not to be rude you lash out online with anonymity but its meant to help you improve I shouldnt have to ask for them cut a brisket to avoid getting mostly fat I do expect some fat. I wish I didnt pay for that particular brisket I wish I got some compensation at least for my next visit because I do intend to visit. And I miss a waiter and bartender as well as a waitress that used to be there before this lockdown very much. Period
