French Farm Winery - Akaroa

We visited French Farm on a beautiful summers day. It’s a bar and deli, food available but it’s a ‘build your own platter’ scenario. Novel, but a few too many decisions for me! I would have much preferred if they had platters available to order. Staff were lovely and accomodating.

Beautiful picturesque views. Clean and tidy facilities. Excellent warm and welcoming team. The fruit and nut pizza is a must have on your visit! This place is worth the trip or great for a wedding venue.

We had dinner and drinks, the pizzas were amazing, my favourite was the fruit and nut naan pizza (pictured). The service was brilliant, with a wide range of beers and wines. Surrounded by great views as we ate, what more could you ask for!

Beautiful place, very relaxed atmosphere. Would be an amazing venue for a party or wedding etc, you have wonderful views over the bay and grounds. We tried the new menu item cheesy garlic bread which was so delicious. The staff there are friendly and welcoming and you can see a lot of love and inspiration for future improvements to the place. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful setting. Really was outstanding. We just had a cake and coffee so can't comment on the cheese, pate and cracker platters. The concept seems popular, choose all your own and sit down, unpack it and eat with a nice wine .
