Birdhouse Sandwich - Ak

My husband came across this restaurant on Facebook where others were enthusiastically recommending it for their sandwiches. We decided to check it out, and it did not disappoint! I tried the "When Pigs Fly" sandwich (I believe that's the name) along with their macaroni pulled pork dish, and everything was absolutely delicious. It’s definitely worth the drive from Wasilla!

The best sandwiches in the valley! We tried the Italian and the Cubano, both of which were fantastic. The customer service was excellent, and we enjoyed sitting at a picnic table while we ate. I highly recommend this place!

Wow, Matt is a master at smoking meat! The flavor is incredible, and if you enjoy your food saucy, just let him know, and he’ll take care of it. This was honestly the best sandwich I've had in quite a while! It was so massive that I could barely finish half of it. As Alaskans, we appreciate a hearty meal, and you can't go wrong with the Birdhouse. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Absolutely fresh with an incredible explosion of flavor! We ordered two pork sandwiches and one chicken sandwich, and every single one was outstanding. I can't wait to return and explore new options next time!

I tried their loaded potato special, and it was absolutely incredible! They also prepared a sandwich for me upon my special request, ensuring it would be great for leftovers and enjoyable even when eaten cold the next day. The staff was incredibly friendly as well!
