The fries are also delicious, you will never be disappointed with them and they serve a lot even on its own. The Panini's here surprised me as well, they are never pressed down to a flat board, done just right and they don't skimp on the amount of stuff that's packed into it. Servers here are excellent and if you come here often they know exactly what you want off by heart. It's a small pub so if you come on a day like wing night id suggest reserving ahead of time as it gets crowded fast also on hockey nights.
Used to be a great spot with friendly staff but since ownership changed service has gone way downhill. It was a regular stop for some friends and I at one time. Good wings and friendly staff but don't expect that any more. Tried to go a few more times after things began to change but got tired of the attitude of the staff and owner seems to have no clue.
The Lion and Dragon is a local pub that serves as a decent spot for locals to enjoy a drink or two after work. It is not the type of place you would want to stay at for a long time. The pub is located in a hidden courtyard within an older plaza, giving off an old world European vibe. While the lack of craft beer options may disappoint some, the regulars seem to prefer the traditional Labatt offerings. Despite the limited beer selection, the wings at the pub are large, meaty, and well-cooked. Overall, if you are in the area and looking for some wings and beer in a cozy setting, the Lion and Dragon may be worth a visit. However, it may not be worth seeking out specifically for a dining experience.
The fries at this restaurant are the best I've ever had. They are so good that I would make the drive all the way from North York just to have them. They also have a good selection of other menu items to choose from as well.
I tried this restaurant for the first time today after hearing good things on Yelp and Foursquare. My initial reaction upon entering was, "Wow, this place is small!" And indeed, it was. There were extension cords hanging from the ceiling, which gave me concerns about safety. I ordered the Dragons Fire wings and a Diet Coke. Unfortunately, the soda was flat and watered down. However, the wings were large and packed with flavor. They had a genuine level of heat, unlike the vinegar-heavy hot wings found at other places. The meal also came with fries, which were tasty as well. The service was decent, although a bit slow. I am unsure if I would return in the future.
