Naan And Chai - Ajax

It's always a pleasure to get together with foodie friends over a good meal. This time, we met for dinner at Naan and Chai in Ajax. They specialize in Pakistani food, all served on naan, a type of flatbread.We had a variety of savoury and sweet items. While we enjoyed their offerings and found them quite tasty, we also found them a bit boring after the first few bites. All the dishes were made with the same sesame naan flatbread, regardless of whether it was a savoury or sweet dish.I had the Bihari Kabob Naan, which was made with beef and included red onions and a smokey garlic sauce. It was quite tasty and very filling. I probably should have ordered the smaller size.Although clean, the decor in this place was rather plain. Service was okay.

We went there for first time for dine in and food was great. We ordered different types of naan and saffron tea which was a perfect combination. Surely recommended and host was amazing.

A clean experience with friendly staff. They make everything in house and it shows. I ordered a butter chicken stuffed naan and it was really good. The sauce was flavorful and not overly spicy, and one was filling. I ordered a paneer tikka naan to take home and I'm excited to have it later. I would definitely come back here!

When this place first opened up, we thought the concept of naan being stuffed with veggies or meat seems great so we wanted to try this place out. If you like quesadilla, stuffed patty, panzerotto, this will probably be in your alley of taste... We got take out for the following: Saucy Butter Brisket 18 NAAN stuffed with Wagyu smoked beef brisket, mozzarella cheese and topped with our house creamy butter chicken gravy I have to admit, I was convinced on the smoked wagyu beef brisket...But let's be real, I don't think there is any sort of wagyu.. It wasn't that saucy from what I recall, but the garlic dip they provide helps a bit. Pesto Chicken Naan 16 NAAN stuffed with buttermilk slow roasted chicken breast, infused with incredible flavours of pesto sauce and mozzarella cheese I would highly NOT recommend this one...Maybe it was an off day but after consuming this naan, its over consuming high sodium intake for the next week... Super salty maybe b/c of the pesto... Eat this at your own risk, but between the two, i guess the first one was better, but still not that great. We'll see how long this place last. The concept is decent, but the food quality and taste may not be the best to spend your on.

Got the brisket naan and Kashmiri chai. Was so yummy. 10/10 recommend. They have so many options to choose from. Will try the butter chicken naan and tandoori next. The lady who served us was super nice too. Good food, good service!
