Mackenzie Pub - Ajax

The atmosphere is fantastic! I visit frequently, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. They offer the best drink specials in Ajax! The food is consistently fresh and delicious.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced! We will definitely return. Parking: There is plenty of parking available in a large lot.

We had a fantastic dinner! The staff truly enhanced our experience, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we were ready to leave. I enjoyed a piece of fish that was perfectly baked with a light, crunchy coating—it was delicious. My wonderful partner had chicken strips tossed in hot sauce, and they were excellent. This place remains one of our favorites!

We ordered wings, fries, spinach dip, and a Caesar salad. The salad was massive, the fries were hot and crispy, and the spinach dip came with an abundance of chips and delicious pita triangles (they were fantastic!). The wings were cooked to perfection! Our lovely server Emma was incredibly attentive and made sure everything met our expectations. I also appreciated that the shift manager came by to check on us. I was pleasantly surprised by my overall experience, especially since I had been worried about finding a nice spot for pub night in Ajax/Pickering. We can't wait to return and try more items from the menu! As a side note, they have a beautiful patio that I noticed on my way out. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is at street level, with seating and restrooms on one floor.

I recently enjoyed a delightful meal with friends and family at our favorite spot. As always, the large terrace added to the experience. This pub/restaurant is truly a gem in the Durham region. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the ambiance was beautiful. Plus, they offer a child-friendly menu, which is a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend!
