Hakka Passion - Ajax

Da hakka passion chow my tastes identical to that I had in Beijing, China. Amazing taste! Nice job boss! This place is definitely worth a try!

I ordered a Chilly Chicken Lunch Special. The chicken wasn't fresh. Good crowd, but the chicken wasn't fresh, so I had to torture it. Not happy this time, but hopefully they get it right away.

Have gone here 4 times ago and had their chili beef and fried rice lunch special, Thai green curry, spicy chicken wings and shrimp pakora and every time the food was delicious. Usually order Hakka food in Scarborough I was skeptical to try this place, but on a recommendation of a friend and I am so glad that we did. Hands down the best Hakka food in Durham region and completely open, the GTA. Portions are super generous and the prices are very reasonable. Lunch is light enough for two hungry people.

I'm working on my original review and decreasing stars, because I've gone back to Hakka Passion for some extra times and realized that the quality of the food is not consistent! In fact, the last meal I ordered (crisis beef, general tao chicken and manchurian rice was not pleasant at all. Did Hakka Passion for the first time yesterday. I bought the Manchurian Chicken (dry and the Hakka Chicken Fried Rice). It was delicious! Delicious, spicy and well seasoned (not overwhelmed with salt!! The staff were polite and friendly. I will definitely go back and try more dishes. I recommend giving them a try if you are looking for a delicious treat!!

Very good food, I would say one of the best if not the best Halal Hakka Chinese food in Ajax. Service was fast like most Chinese restaurants. Food was not overly greesy, tasty! as of end of May 2022, there was no dine-in, take out only.
