This restaurant is overly priced and lacks customer service or appreciation for its customers, both new and returning. Despite being referred by someone, my order was incorrect, which can happen. However, when I called to inform Baryls of the mistake, I was shocked by the way I was treated, especially considering the distance I traveled and the amount of money I spent. I was left feeling extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. Mrs. Baryls, not everything revolves around money - it's normal to have occasional mishaps, but you have lost a potential new customer and business. I strongly advise choosing Chris Jerks for exceptional service at all times.

I visited the restaurant on a Friday in December when it was almost 10 degrees Celsius and there was no snow. There were 6 people in line ahead of me, both inside and outside, at 1:50 pm and I reached the cash register at 2:05 pm. The orders in front of me were large, not just individual dinners. I ordered the Large Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, ox tail gravy (mild) with coleslaw for around $13, including a small 10% gratuity. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The chicken portion was generous, mildly spiced with very little heat and was only slightly warm. The coleslaw was sweet and not creamy, but still enjoyable. The rice and peas were fluffy, but the ox tail gravy portion was very small. Despite this, the food did not feel greasy and seemed healthy for takeout. The staff was friendly. Overall, I would rate my experience a 4 out of 5 and would recommend trying it out. I suggest ordering ahead or arriving early to avoid long lines, especially if you have trouble standing for a long time as there are no seats.

Situated in an industrial place ,this establishment is frequented by the west Indian diaspora for its delightful delectable dishes.such as oxtail/curry chicken/fried chicken/jerk pork stew beef and chicken all service with rich and peas or plain white rice. Be prepared though for some long line especially during rush lunch hour.This mainly a take out eatery with some degree of exception

I have noticed a significant decrease in the quality of their food, and the wait time for meals is unreasonably long. It is frustrating that the food is already prepared, yet it takes forever to be served. The owner and staff have bad attitudes, giving off the impression that they do not want to be there. I will not be returning to this overpriced establishment.

I’ve been coming here for food for a long time. However, the workers here have too much attitude! I want to support local businesses, especially black businesses, but I can’t when they are always miserable. It’s ridiculous!
