Beryl's Pepper Pot - Ajax

The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is well-seasoned. The restaurant has a clean and inviting atmosphere. The ackee and saltfish are phenomenal, and I appreciate that the saltfish isn’t substituted with any overly sweet or thorny ingredients. The dumplings here are the best I've tasted since elementary school!

If I had to choose a word to describe Beryl’s, it would be "consistent." The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, the staff is consistently friendly, and the restaurant is always impeccably clean! I've never had a bad meal there, and they serve some truly mouthwatering Jamaican dishes. Don't miss out on the soup of the day—I've never been disappointed!

The woman who took my order was incredibly kind, and I would definitely return just because of her! I wish I had caught her name so I could acknowledge her properly, but unfortunately, I didn't. I ordered the Jolt, and it was absolutely amazing—highly recommended! The restaurant is somewhat hidden, so I probably wouldn't have discovered it if I had just driven by. They take social distancing very seriously, limiting the maximum number of customers inside at any time. They also have a large plexiglass barrier at the counter. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Eating is amazing. only disappointment is ajax location has limited selection of means of life. no curry chicken and no dumplings.

Whomever is cooking this food is a genius..Hands down top 3 I've had. Magical Delicious Curry Goat, Rice and peas. Coleslaw.
