This was an experience that John Cleese would have been proud of…we booked a table for 12 but no one seemed to know where that table was…we asked for menus, nope they don’t have menus. It’s all done online …the staff were not helpful as they were so busy despite the restaurant being less than half full…meals ordered didn’t turn up and despite staff saying they’d follow up, no one did…one staff said early on in the night ‘if you’re happy, we’re happy’ and then he wandered off like Basil Fawlty believing that all was good in the world!! The house Shiraz was Pepperjack so there was some light in the darkness…thank you Sybil!!

Extremely rude staff. We asked by one of the watiers if we could leave so we she could go home and not have to look after use we where there for 1 hour). Anotheremplyee was slaming chairs. Not a pleasantly experience

Don't usually stay at motels when I go to Townsville as I always stay with family but I thought we'd try something different the room was very clean the staff were very friendly as well always smiling I loved the fact that I didn't have to worry about parking the hire car outside in a carpark as the gates were always locked you could only get in by using the key card. We will be booking to stay at the vale motel the next time we are in Townsville. All in all 9 out 10

Very slow service. The food was mediocre could not change sauces or have a choice of what you wanted. Waited for ages for our food. The male server manager was polite and tried hard but one of the women servers was really rude
