The Broken Whisk - Agassiz

We ordered the Pulled Pork Poutine for $15.95, Broken Whiskey Ribs for $25.99, a Tequila Sunrise (which I recommend), and a Lime Margarita. The pulled pork was flavorful and juicy, and the fries were crispy, but unfortunately, the gravy was quite salty, so I wouldn't recommend the poutine. However, I would definitely get the fries as a side with my burger next time! The ribs were decent but nothing out of the ordinary, and while the fries were crispy, the sides were just okay. Based on what we heard from others at our table who enjoyed their burgers, I’m keen to come back and try those! As for the drinks, they were delicious! We sampled a few from the menu, and I suggest giving one of their special drinks a try. Overall, I’m looking forward to returning to explore more of their food and drink offerings!

Terrible experience. The owner informed us that a booth would be available soon, but after waiting for 15 minutes, a young man approached us and said that no booths were opening up and suggested we could sit at a table behind us, which was empty. We also didn't receive menus from the owner. The service was slow; they brought our steak and lobster, priced at $49.99 per plate, before even serving our appetizers, so we decided to cancel those. The potatoes were cold, and the lobster was tough and also cold. They forgot to provide us with butter. I ordered my steak rare, but there was a strange red sauce on top, hiding the fact that it was not cooked properly. Halfway through, I realized that the entire steak was completely raw—not just blue rare, but entirely uncooked. To top it off, the owner awkwardly came up behind us and hugged one of our group members at the end, making us feel very uncomfortable. For the price we paid, I expected much more. This was our first visit, and it will definitely be our last.

The food is always amazing, and the staff always does a great job, and if your server is busy, another will cover. Have never been disappointed

My husband ordered pasta and asked if it came with any kind of bread, to which the server answered no. However, it actually came with a Caesar salad, which he didn't receive at all. It took forever to get the bill, and even longer to complete the payment. We were out celebrating my birthday with friends, and we had previously visited a few weeks ago when the service and food had been excellent, which is why we chose to come back.

I'll add my five stars to a place that already has many. This place cannot be beat. If I lived in the town it would be my go-to-place at least weekly. Great service, large portions, priced reasonably, friendly staff, wonderful food. I think reservations might be advisable.
