We feel happy to have such a big sushi restaurant in sardis. they have been taken out for several years and have never been disappointed again. especially like their special roles and have big ratchets followed by big sashimi.
It was nice to finally visit vedder sushi again, although in form of taking over due to the persistent covid pandemic, after a subdivision of almost exactly 5 years. between 2013 and 2015, I have regularly protected this establishment with the family and reminded that it is pretty. chic, so I was quite worried to see what had changed in the meanwhile half decade. To make a real comparison, I have ordered many of the same items that were earlier than favorite in the year: tempura, chicken karaage, feta cheese roll and magic tuna roll. I also commanded the grilled scallop skewers; but these were forgotten and I was not accused for them so that I will not cry about spilled milk. appetizer tempura: one of the fall knits of tempoura in many sushi facilities is the oily texture and the oil that they are often insane. this, I find, ruined the taste and eliminates practically every crispy can have the Tempoura battery. to the happiness this is not the case at vedder sushis tempo. it is light and crisp and there is no oily aftertaste. also in take-out form, the tempura creates its integrity, thanks to the well-thought “breathing holes” pointed into the take-out container. magie tuna roll: this “Appetitor” sushi rolle is bright and colorful thanks to the confluence of sauces and vibrating byalate. referred to as “depth fried roll with thunfisch, veg, avocado, [and] gurke”, this sushi roll underlines vedder sushi’s nod to traditionalism supplemented with the modern. I appreciated the light seaman on the tuna and felt that he worked well with the fresher elements of the teller. in many respects, this article reminded me of vedder’s fantastic “Alaska Roll”, which used in a traditional california roll smoked salmon. spicy chicken karaage: this dish was a multi-year-old favorite of me and maybe I was the most on eating again. in short, I was not disappointed. the karaage had a light cripple – as any right chicken caraage should be – and the sosse in which it was sunk, gave it both an attractive deep red color beautiful “kick” seasoned. feten cheese roll: this roll is one of the “specialities” of vedder and is a literary resistive. with a beautiful mix of feta cheese, BBQ-Rind, yam, crabs and mysteries special sauce, this roll embodies which innovation in a sushi restaurant can consist in that it combines unconventional ingredients (bef and yam) with those elements of sushi that make it a form of art: symmetry, finite roaming, brightening, seriously, this roll should not really work on paper, but it is a true thing of beauty. food: 4/5 service: 4/5 value: 4/5 recommended: I am glad that my vedder sushi experience has lived up to previous expectations. everything was ordered on the spot and the rolling still emphasizes that innovative edge vedder sushi is known. if they are in the chilliwack area, I recommend giving them this place an attempt! ps: if they have found this review in some way helpful, please note that to meet the helpful button!
We decided to try some sushi options in chilliwack for lunch. vedder sushi came up immediately as my partner told me good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately we couldn't immerse them because they only work for the use in the pandemic. Nevertheless, we have selected some of their more popular dishes to enjoy a sushi lunch. serving her teller is quite big, so we were pleasantly surprised. the service staff were quick and accommodating, from the order to the pick-up of our departure. the device was clean and followed also pandemic precautions. our starter was appetizer tempura the right light hit on a few garnel and nice were good. we added chicken teriyaki the sauce is good and the chicken meat had the right strength for the dish and the side salad with the sauce has some crispness on them. the sushi reels we ordered were magic tuna and feta cheese roll, which both seem to be popular with this sushi joint. the thunfish was supposed and partly boiled that the light teig and the other ingredients of the sushi roll compliment. the feta cheese roll was a hit and a handful to finish. his taste was very good, surprisingly made with feta cheese, crab meat, BBQ cow, yam, and barbeque sauce they all mixed together so well. a total surprise as they would not think that bark would work well in such a roll. while we enjoyed our lunch snack, we could not finish the generous rolls; but we later brought them into a family function and they were a hit! I hope we could have seen how these courts would be plated as part of the experience, but we understand the restrictions on the interpretation that the restaurant had at that time. we'll probably be back in a dune-in experience sometime.
Just received our second Skip the Dishes delivery from Vedder Sushi. The Chicken Teriyaki, soup and rice was delivered Luke warm at best. We are only 5 mins away and it was delivered on time so it wasn’t the drivers fault. This is the second...time this has happened and it will be the last.
