Maggie Mae's Tea Room - Adairsville

The service was terrible! The bartender, who was also serving our table, hardly spoke to us at all. However, he spent plenty of time chatting with the gentlemen at the bar and engaging with the ladies and child at the next table. He completely forgot our iced tea order but charged us for it anyway. He didn’t refill the water glasses either. We had to remind him to bring the dessert we ordered. Fellow tourists, I do not recommend this place.

The charming Maggie Mae Tearoom is situated in the historic 1902 Stock Exchange building in downtown Adairsville. This quaint tearoom features exposed brick walls and lovely black-and-white toile tablecloths. We ordered the sampler, which included a rich quiche, a cranberry chicken salad served with a croissant, a refreshing salad, and fresh fruit. To top off our delightful lunch, we enjoyed a slice of hummingbird cake. The restored building also boasts antique booths, a stunning staircase, and a well-stocked book section. Be sure to visit! The tearoom is open Thursday to Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM.

What a wonderful experience! We had tea and it was delicious! Ms.Pritchard was so sweet an welcoming!

Delicious food, excellent service, and the perfect setting! Our party of 14 experienced an amazing birthday celebration for my aunt! I suggest you all try the Hummingbird cake, too! <3
