Excellent place, very nice to fit with food! highly recommended!

Can't say enough about how much I LOVE this hotel!! It's incredible. The food is spectacular and the family who runs is are amazing and so is the rest of the staff.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at a quaint country home visiting friends. The hotel is owned and operated by a charismatic family. The room was spacious and decorated with great taste and appointments. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and served promptly, properly prepared and at the correct temperature. I highly recommend The Dowan’s Hotel when visiting Scotland’s Highlands and the World Class Whisky Distilleries of the area..

Excellent meal,great service and staff were polite and helpful,especially when our son was a fussy eater!! Beautiful hotel.

First visit to The Dowans today on Emily Ellis’ recommendation-it won’t be our last- just had a cocktail which was beautifully presented,tasted gorgeous-wish we could have stayed for lunch-but had other plans ,so cannot wait to go back.
