Fabulous use of fresh local ingredients and wonderful flavours. Great value for money

The initial service was good, staff were friendly. However once the main course was served no one came back to ask if the food was okay and if we needed anything, we would have ordered drinks. We just had the water on the table. I had to go up to one member of staff to ask for ketchup. The ketchup never arrived, we were ignored. That member of staff passed us 3 times and even served the table next to us. The food was good but service could be better.

We have always been regular visitors rk the Copper Dog, but have become disappointed. We went on Sunday for a treat but spent most of the time waiting. The server kept pulling his mask down to speak not really the point of the mask! None of the staff were warm and we were constantly promised things that didn’t materialise. The food was decent enough but the lack of service annoyed us so much it’ll be a while til we are back. This is not the time to let standards slip!

No better place to stop and enjoy a lovely meal. A delight.
