Siam House Thai Restaurant - Abbotsford

REVOLTING ENTER AT OWN RISK! Possibly our worst eating experience ever (worse than 3rd world countries we've visited)  we sat upstairs & watched male kitchen staff go to toilets wearing their food handling gloves & aprons then return to kitchen in the same gloves & aprons to prepare our food, disgusting!  service was fast & friendly although we were never offered drinks and had the free tap water they delivered.  We counted about 80 menu options, how they order & prep FRESH for this is beyond me and given the evidence in the food, I don't believe they do prepare fresh. Hubby had Red Curry w' beef off lunch menu, dry like cardboard and tasteless..  I had the pork belly prik king and unfortunately couldn't eat it, dry like cardboard had to spit it out, reflected something that had been heated several times and sat in the bain marie heat day after day.  I also had Soup Tom Kha Gai, this was ordinary but edible, until I saw the kitchen guy return from the toilet... read more

The service was perfect! The waitresses were all so beautiful, and the food was really nice! Not sure about all these reviews here, but we could not debt our experience. We will definitely return!

No good choice, but hunger drove us in. Should explore some time! Good service, but not good food - my plate of pasta had an overwhelming taste of the old cooking oil and was without the beautiful Thai flavors. Husbands of plates saw, without a touch of pride in the presentation on the plate to be beaten (coriander / limboedge could have helped here!).

Slow service. Grief Food came out very late. Grief We had to go to go to a show and called for the containers of takeaway, which lasted another 5 minutes. I had to ask the waitress in Thai for the containers again. The other claimed she forgot.

Friendly and fast service. Grief Soft shelving crab is very good. Fresh soft shelves were easily coated in dough and deep fried. They come golden crispy and creamy inside. Grief Grief Tom Yum Gong was simple, but very tasteful. You can say that you use fresh shrimp, not these crunchy frozen.
