Everything was tasty, and I enjoyed it, but I won't be ordering that super spicy chicken again! Overall, this place is definitely worthy of a takeaway order. --- Previous review from September 2017: My partner and I dined there last night. The restaurant was quiet, but that didn’t bother us at all. The service was excellent, haha! They offered us hot water instead of cold, which was perfect for a chilly evening. We ordered nearly everything from the menu using a tablet—the mixed skewers, pork belly skewers, unagi (eel) sushi, tuna sushi, chicken karage (I hope I got that right), and a tuna cone that looked like an ice cream cone, which was amazing! Wow, I could have eaten those all night, haha! The only thing we didn’t try was the sashimi, but that will be for our next visit. This place is definitely worth checking out. Just a heads up, they currently don’t have a liquor license or BYO options, but they do accept cards with a small surcharge. Enjoy!
Excellent value and delicious food! This charming and cheerful Korean restaurant, located on Victoria Street amid a plethora of Asian eateries, truly stands out. The flavors are outstanding, and everything we tried was incredibly tasty. We enjoyed mackerel and beef patties, along with a wide array of side dishes—some of the best I've ever had in Melbourne. This little gem shines brightly amidst the hustle and bustle of Victoria Street.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were fantastic and exceptionally friendly. We brought our two kids, aged 6 and 3, and the Korean Sashimi chef overheard our son express his love for the King Fish Sashimi. He kindly slipped us an extra little side of it! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be returning regularly.
I must say, everything we ate here was on point. The standout dishes were the Samgyetang (Ginseng chicken soup) and the salmon rolls. On top of that, the waitress recommended the tiramusi Mochi (sweet rice cake) which was icing on the cake. Overall, great quality food and for a reasonable price! (About $30 pp)
Korean chicken soupginseng herbal flavour makes me feel healthy. Such a good place with warm staffs and nice dishes. Sashimi and sushi are fantastic too
