This old traditional brauhaus served good German food at a very reasonable price. The location is also perfect to people watch if you sit in the outside terrace with a view of the city hall. Staff are friendly

On Tuesday I have visited Aachen and certainly I had to eat something. Together with a friend we have chosen 'Goldener Schwan' restaurant and it was a very good choice! I really wanted to eat a German schnitzel and I took the option with...fried onions and champignons served with fries and a small salad. It was very tasty, exactly what I expected. Importantly, the price was very OK. For such a lunch and a coke I paid EUR, so very nice. The service was kind and helpful speaking English that was also helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant
