Mountainside Smokehouse Grill - <a href

We heard a lot about this place so we called for takeout, here is our review of what we tried; my beef brisket platter was great, a large portion, moist, tasty, no issues, 5 stars on this meal. My wife’s smoked turkey platter was fair, a little dry but maybe that’s the way you it’s supposed to be, large portions, 3 stars on this one. Unassuming place, brisk business, good bbq and sides, very pleasant and friendly staff. Ribs were a little tough, not “fall off the bone” how I like them.

Food was delicious!! However, our waitress made the visit the most enjoyable of all!!! From her knowledge of the area to dinner recommendations, coupled with her sense of humor and friendliness, it was such a wonderful evening!! We definitely recommend this restaurant!!

The waitress were so nice, it was not there fault. But everything else was bad. Food took forever and it was cold when we got it. Not a very good quality either. It was a colder night and we asked to be seated inside, there was space in both, but we were moved out so the couple behind us could be inside. I had high expectations but we were really disappointed.

Best BBQ in the State. Make sure you stop while you are in town!
