Tokyo Rahmen Ten - 東京 日本

The restaurant has a very local, authentic, and friendly atmosphere. Even though we couldn't speak Japanese, the chef helped us by showing photos of the dishes and giving recommendations. The food was delicious!

This restaurant embodies the warm hospitality that Japan is known for. The greeting I received was friendly and the atmosphere felt local and unique, with a sense of history rather than being a generic ramen shop. The staff was incredibly kind and made the experience even more enjoyable. I asked for recommendations and was served egg noodles and a garlic tonkotsu broth that did not disappoint. The swirl of flavors in the broth added an interesting twist to the dish. The pork was perfectly tender and not overcooked like at most places. I highly recommend visiting this place to support local businesses that provide excellent service.

We have visited this restaurant in Tokyo twice and we couldn't resist coming back. The staff is extremely friendly and they have an English menu on their phone that is easy to navigate and contains all the essential items they offer. The ramen here is incredible! We tried the salt and garlic/eggs flavors, both of which were excellent. The garlic/eggs ramen was rich and satisfying, while the traditional salt ramen was just perfect. The gyoza were also delicious. We have been searching for a similar experience in NYC without the long lines of Ippudo or Deadto Ramen.

This was our first stop after settling in after our flights and I have to say I was skeptical at first. But I do love living on the edge so I thought what the heck, I'll give it a swing. When you first walk in your greeted with some smooth jazz which some how sets the tone of the restraunt, as you converse with your friends the chef hands you an iPhone and cycles through pictures of all the amazing types of Ramen they serve, don't miss out on the dumpings either. Your mouth begins to salivate as you witness this chef meticulously prepare your meal. Hand peeling garlic, slicing through fresh onions, roasting the soft and tender pork loin, drizzling in seasonings akin to salt bae. Finally your meal has been prepared and swiftly delivered. Your body begins to tremble in anticipation. Your stomach begins to growl and roar like a lion, you taste the first drop off heaven and question your entire life, swallowing a river of flavors. The heavenly soup begins to quell your raging stomach like a fire in a monsoon. This is the life, the dream, this IS Japan!
