The service was very good, smiling. I tried the kewitsche and the muscheln, wwwwvery well. I also did some verdejo and it was amazing, nice selection: definitiw should I come back to try a little more!
The most central brasserie in Zwolle, with a covered and heated terrace next to the church, in Den Hoofdwacht offers a good variety of plates in an informal setting. The service is not perfect but the staff is friendly. The food is pretty good, mostly fresh stuff and the portions are big. We could sit on the terrace on a Saturday evening without reservation but I would still recommend to reserve if you wanna sit inside. Extra points for how the wine menu, they use the Coravin system so a wider range of wines can be served by the glass and you'll have the guarantee that the wine is in perfect condition.
A decent cafe/restaurant in the heart of Zwolle with a simple but nice enough menu offering good value. The service we received was average. Nothing amazing but worth a visit.
