Beautifully situated by the river, everything is clean and well-maintained. Dinner and breakfast are always great at Van der Valk. The rooms are excellent, the service is top-notch, and the location is perfect. The hotel highlights include a great view, quiet surroundings, great value, and high-tech amenities.

The hotel is in serious need of a complete renovation and modernization. When I mentioned to the front desk about the broken curtains and damaged bedspring in my room, they moved me to a different room. The new room had a better view but was still in poor condition. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location a 3 out of 5.
