Covered Bridge - Zumbrota

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. My partner ordered the shrimp and ribs and described it as excellent. I tried the steak and walleye, and I found it to be fantastic as well.

Great food, excellent drinks, and fantastic staff! I absolutely love the clam chowder soup—it's delicious! There’s also plenty of space for larger groups or tables.

This is an outstanding family-style restaurant. I discovered it by chance, but I highly recommend it to any travelers.

This restaurant serves delicious cheeseburgers and has MLB baseball on TV, with the Texas Rangers playing against the Minnesota Twins, which I really enjoyed. They also have a Pac-Man machine, and their fries are even better than McDonald's. I appreciate that they serve the food with pickles. Be sure to tell your friends and family about this place!

I regretfully have to give a very low rating for this restaurant. This was not a one stop shop and I'm simply irritated and giving a bad rating this is ratings overtime. Time after time that we've ordered food from this restaurant it has been lack luster. It's like ordering a steak from Denny's, versus Ruth Chris steak House. Denny's would qualify as a 1 or 2on a scale of 10. So now the scale is established. The Covered Bridge merely serves frozen foods warmed up and calls it home made. No! It is just somebody microwaving frozen foods in the back and bringing it up to the front and passing it off as home-cooked food and it is not. The only consistent good rating that I can give this restaurant is for their potato salad. Best potato salad you will find in just about all of southeast Minnesota. However it's very hit and miss as to when you can get it. They say it's seasonal and that is fine however they failed to define it. I give the service about two stars because quite honestly after trying to have a little bit of conversation with them, they really have an attitude of they could care less. They are fairly timely with the service and that's about it. It does not seem as if they're wait staff is very friendly. So to summit up if you want to stop in for some non-friendly frozen food, cobbled up hash this is a place for you. But there are some very good restaurants right nearby that I would suggest you try those instead. Except for potato salad of course.
