We have been there for years, the quality is above average in all areas, a better mah mee there is nowhere in the city, just as good as before in the clipper.
Eating is excellent and is served in a very pleasant ambiente by over-friendly staff. my favourite dishes in the Stauffacher-Tor are the Cordon-Bleu, the entrecote and the tatar. you will not regret it.
Simply a super successful menu. fine entrecote with pommes a la discretion also a delicious homemade cafe de paris sauce, very nice operation and cozy atmosphere. have recommended the restaurant. we will surely come back...
Design, ambiente conceptless, partly asian elements, partly 80s-Italo style, 1 classic element (cron lights in a corner;) cold, large, undressed carrying columns; some modern art on the walls; uneven mix of leather,- standart and halogen lighting; white fabric table cloth, but over it cheap paper, paper napkins; no background music. - all in all, neither harmonious nor authentically nor exceptional or worth seeing menu selection on Asian standard dishes, pizza and pasta of an average Italian as well as some classic Italian cuisine; an element of the classic French cuisine card was not presented to me (at least please). the wein recommendation (I wanted a rather earthly wein) was good for it.But dinner starter cuddly (3 pcs. fr. 8.50), ordered with only a little ruccola, get completely without ruccola; many tomato seeds - this is not possible with crickets! in the price of a higher price, a concassé preparation (only the fruit meat) is expected; the brot was neither roasted nor warm; garlic strongly preferred, pfeffer missing complete menu l’entrecôte (250g, small salat, pommes à la discretion, 55 fr.) ordered rare to 1/4, medium; meat was not really tender, had already received a much better entrecôte for less money; the pommes of the second round were clearly too short; the salat is almost drowned in the almost tasteless salat sauce, the salat leaves I had to halve twice so that they were mouth-friendly - wein 3dl campofiorin, 21 fr, was served too cold, its taste bouquet only unfolded against the end of the meal; quality of the wee was basically good- total conversion: 90 fr.
