Hallo - Zürich

This place serves good food and beer! I sat there twice a day and tried every time my taste buds were happy. This is a great location directly near one of the exits at the Zurich HB station. Staff are very polite and friendly. It's good for the bag. Must try!

We sent our relatives to the airport this day and spent a few hours in Zurich. Food options are a lot, but many of the price tags are quite hefty... even for Switzerland. Zurich is just a rather expensive place (and that comes from me to be Swiss itself. One of the more affordable options is this restaurant café on a sub-level in Zurich Train Station. There are some nice seats and tables, but also some massive woven tables with benches. It was pretty packed this day, so the bank was. Not too comfortable if you stay for a while. The menu was very interesting (all day breakfast and at the end we went for a Prosciutto Panini (Ham , a Pastrami Panini, scrambled eggs with bacon and toast and a beef burger with frits. With some water and beer. The Panini will take us back 10 CHF and 12 CHF (for a small, the eggs with pages 10 CHF and the burger 17 CHF PLUS 5 CHF for the frits. The Panini were a bit disappointed. Pretty small (also for a small portion and there was not really a meat inside. Pastrami has nothing to do with the true original American pastrami. The eggs with bacon were good but 10 mice for a small bowl of breakfast. Oh, good. The burger was pretty good. Patty had a nice taste, good meat quality, a little small. The burger itself was a bit dry. But the frits were beautiful, hot and crispy. A decent meal. But together with Fritten 22 bucks is at the top. Beer was nice and cold, 7 dollars for half a liter. Eating doesn't make a great place. The best was definitely the burger, the presentation was also beautiful. The other things we wouldn't order again. But service was very friendly and our dog was also welcome. All in all, it's still a good place to grab a quick bite... other places even cost more. There are always the great chains natural (the king and the clown... but sometimes you want to try something else. And this place was all right. But only.

Kind of the only place in Zurich main station where you can seat down, eat drink something (while waiting for the train) in a GROUP. Food is average. They do have toilets for patrons.
