China Restaurant - Zürich

I've been going there for several years now and find the food OK for the price. I went for lunch today and coronavirus measures were in place partitioning between tables and 2 people maximum to a table (although I assumed groups of more than 2 could be accommodated. However the ongoing implementation of the measures were sadly not. I was on my own on the table set for 2. However the waitress did not remove the setting in front of me and when I didn't order a drink with my meal she just moved my glass to the other setting. Therefore when I left my place was simply reset and the place opposite left with any infection I might have transmitted.

If you want to have authenic Chinese Food, I suggest you go somewhere else since this restaurant offers only European version Chinese food and they cannot even able to provide genuine Barbecued Pork!

I was completely disappointed with the service, the portions and the quality of the food here. I had been here before but I had expected that it would have improved. I think that the Suan Long's are no longer what they were. Give them a miss unless you are desperate like I am sometimes. Not a place to go if you want to impress people.

In Zurich for a conference on a Sunday night and was heading for another highly rated restaurant on Trip Advisor but it was closed (as many restaurants were in this part of Zurich on a Sunday night). So walked in to this restaurant as there were a few locals inside. Had spring roll (greasy ordinary), chicken sweet corn soup (OK) and then Szechuan beef with steamed rice (better but only average). I am from Australia where there is great Asian food so I am usually disappointed with Asian food in Europe this place no exception.

I had Sweet and Sour Soup, Taste was Terrible. I also had Fish in Soy Sauce. The flour that covers the fish was bigger than the fish itself. The oil used for frying was old.
