Hongxi - Zuerich

I came here several times, dinner and lunch time pre covid. What I experienced today was a different restaurant altogether apart from name and location. The menu had shrunk to some uninspiring standard menu, greasy and torn and overpriced. From dozens of exciting and tasty dumplings to choose from, the menu was down to a few. Boa bun with beef was ok but the rest was yawn boring, without taste and too clearly not freshly made. Service had taken a disturbing dive and was disinterested, but not outright rude. This is not the Hongxi that received accolades for excellent, authentic dumplings. Not worth the money and no pleasure at all, certainly not considering the stetchy neighbourhood. I will avoid in the future.

Love our dinner at Hongxi. The service was super nice and quick, and the food fantastic. We absolutely recommend the sticky pork ribs.
