Zum alten zack - Zittau

I had to find a restaurant that was open at 17:00 so I could get trains back to Berlin, and that seemed to correspond to the bill. The hotel is located directly on the main center, it was very nice inside, and the staff was friendly. Food and beer were good, and the whole thing was exactly what I was looking for. Recommended.

Very tasteful and really large portions of meat. Very good price quality rate. The venue is also interesting. Recommended.

We met for friendship and enjoyed the Zittau Fastentuch exhibition first. When we met at this host house for dinner. Place on two large tables our group enjoyed the cool drinks and each ordered its individual choice. The variety offered ranges from smaly snacks to complete meals that are best prepared for local kitchen standards and very tasty.

We had dinner in this restaurant it is in a historic building and it looked like a really nice restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly, but the food was a disaster. The only thing that was good was the vegetables, the meat was fine, but it was all in a rather tasteless sauce (probably Knorr, Maggi or other producer) that spoiled the whole dish. We had two different dishes and both were with this funny sauce that was just terrible. We wouldn't risk going back to this restaurant, as the chef apparently can't cook and at €14 a dish you would expect something tasteful....

Tolles - verwuscheltes Ambiente.... Dickes altes Mauerwerk daher kein Mobile- Telefonie- Empfang. W-LAn vorhanden aber nicht für die Gäste ;-(
