Thai Select - Zionsville

This is a place my wife and I frequently visit. Food is really good. The best tasting fried rice I've had. I always get the Hawaiian fried and I get it hot. The crab rangoons are the best..spring rolls are good. Orange chicken is good. Never had a badexperience with neither food taste and/or quality nor the staff.

Wasn't impressed with this place. I visited way back before Covid and next visit was 9/7/22. First off, the person who greeted us was less than thrilled that we were there. Tossed the menus on a table. When she came back a few minutes later she asked ifwe were ready to order. I asked for sakes and water. We ordered when she came back. I ordered Tom Yum soup, Thai dumplings,we shared a Papaya salad and my husband got the Cashew chicken. The Cashew chicken was very good. The dumplings were fillingwith the sauce tasty. The Papaya salad was good as well. The Tom Yum soup tasted like it was a beef base with a darker brownbroth. I am used to a lighter clear/yellow broth for the lemongrass base. I then asked for the Tom Kha soup instead. It wasbetter. We ended up ordering another sake each to finish off the meal. When we received the check, the sake was $1 more on ourbill than what the menu stated. I mentioned to the manager the difference and she said that the owner changed it in the system. I'm totally OK with that...but you have to change the menu that the customer reads. The drink menu mentioned nothing aboutprices may change. They did not change the price. This is our 2nd time going here and we will not go back. I highly recommendThai Corner across the street. Lala the owner is amazing and so nice. She always comes out to greet her customers and Eve thewaitress is always so nice and welcoming. They also have a awesome seating area outside. Don't waste your time here imo.

I orderd the Seafood Madness, spicy. I am 59 years of age and that was the Fireyest meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Very Good. The waitresses wasn't rude, just very business-like. Not many beverage choices. Would definitely go back there.

Ordered a lunch special served with soup. One taste of the soup changed my order to the BIGGEST BOWL available. The absolute BEST soup I've ever had in a restaurant!! The first sip was

Love love love this food but this place customer service sucks big time. I eat here a few times a week sometimes n it?s just not good anymore. No spices at all in this one .. no onions. Really wish they were a different location to try. I will attempt onemore time tonight after that I will just have to keep my hard earned money in my pocket
