Spoel - Zernez

The people around us were locals, older one . very politely service group. food was standard with no culture oder special taste . well prepare not too much

We had lunch there, like many other people, on a busy summer day. The table cloth was dirty from previous guests. Service was stressed and unfriendly. Food was catastrophic: Spaghetti Bolognese: almost no sauce, the meat would fit in a coffee spoon.The sausage must have spent days in warm water, potato salad with only mayo and no taste, and on top of it, a dead aunt in the salad.

I ate at restaurant Spol for all 3 nights I was staying in Zernez. The male service staff and a young lady boss I think) were very patient to explain the various dishes to me in although they did not have any English menu and their English was not so good and I could not understand the German language menu. The local food served there was tasty. They also recommended me the wild meat wild deer or goat meat only available during the hunting season. The meal was very tasty and very pleasing to the eye too. The grilled beef steak was also great. The red wine that they recommended to pair with the meals was also good. The dessert was the only let down as they were normal.

Wenn wir nach Samnau gehen, meistens machen wir Kaffee Pause hier, guter Lage, Service ist ok

Schönes Hotel, gepflegte Zimmer und frisches Frühstücksbuffet. Das Hotel ist an guter Lage und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber lässt jedoch zu wünschen übrig Schade, denn ansonsten wärs ein schönes Hotel.
