I've been coming to Chez Max Julen since I was a child in the mid-90s. A visit MUST be possible when I'm in Zermatt. I say this is the best grill restaurant in Switzerland! From the service to the schnapps at the end, everything was perfect. Hopefully you'll keep it up for a long time! Lg

I was fortunate enough to celebrate my birthday here last night. What an unforgettable experience! The food is prepared over an open fire and with such care. We had the see bass and steak. The flavor was outstanding and it was cooked perfectly! The staff couldn't be friendlier and the ambiance just perfect.

Super neat place, staff is fantastic and helpful. It was a bit slow so we were able to order something not on the current menu. Chicken was delicious and the owner/cook asked us about the meal. We really enjoyed the experience.
