Seehotel Freiberg - Zell am See

After a walk around the lake. the lookout is stunning, we ordered to eat and there was a little problem, but the waitress well sorted and the eating was great. we will try the night next time, how sees a good choice around the lake.

Under new management for this winter, the bar and the restaurant were given a refreshment that uses the best modern influences to deliver something that pleases the eye. the welcome is warm, with a good selection of beer, weeping and other drinks...and the bar menu, although limited is high quality. we ordered goulash an austrian classic that is delivered in kilneric style jams, packed with taste, truly the best goulash in cell at the lake of my opinion after.

Pros: beautiful view Cons: poorly made coffee we ordered Caffe Latte (macchiato), extremely hot, basically burning your tongue, no structure in steamed milk, just huge unappealing bubbles dirty chairs and table cloths

We were staying at the hotel and took advantage of their meal option at only $15 Eu each for dinner. The food was creative and well balanced and we were very impressed by the food and the service. We noticed that many other guests ordered...pizza and chips and drank coco cola, they obviously did not know what they were missing.

Currently spending a week in Zell am See. We saw this hotel/restaurant whils on a walk around the lake as it 's on the fringes of town. Well worth a visit and the effort to venture just five minutes from the centre. The location/layout has to...be the highlight with a fabulous view over the lake. This is followed by excellent food of a very high standard matched by the service through which it is cook, presented and delivered. The final 'icing on the cake ' is the price. You would be forgiven to think they had missed something off the bill. Excellent value for what we ordered. Another recommendation for a visit if you are considering excellent food at affordable prices.
