We were given English Language menus which was helpful, but did find that no one on the evening spoke English. Consequently we ended up with an 18 euro Ensalada Ventresca that we didn 't order and a small bread basket that we were charged 4 euros for. Still the meal was enjoyable in particular the Lenguado (Dover Sole) and the Protos Roble is recommended.
We came to this restaurant after some terrible service at a fancier asador near by and boy, are we glad we did. We didn’t have a reservation and only waited a few minutes to be seated. The service was stupendous. We really enjoyed the Pulpo a la Brasa, best we’ve ever had. They even gave us a complementary appetizer because our food was taking a few extra minutes. It was five of us and we ordered one suckling pig for two and one Tbone for two, and an oxtail. Amazing flavor and textures. We highly recommend this place and will return for their great selección and service.
You can eat tapas at the bar or have dinner in the restaurant. We enjoyed the tapas at the bar. They have a lot of seafood tapas but besides these they have plenty of others (as I don’t eat seafood). Price is reasonable. Excellent place to enjoy Spanish culture.
