The salads are small and similar to Korean taste, amazing necks, and I especially liked the avocado with lime. There are tables on the roof, but we haven't even dared to go up there in a day. Interesting interior, around the old chezes. Clean toilet. Payable is cash and card.
Enter this specially decorated facility and walk the steps to the roof. There you get the menu that has a variety of options. I and my friend tried two chicken alternatives, the Chapati Wrap and the Queensadilla. After a 3-month stay in Tanzania and with less than a week, I can say without a doubt that this was the closest thing I felt to Paradise. I can't say anything about dessert because the meal is perfectly managed to satisfy our lunch needs. As far as pricing is concerned, I wouldn't even call it expensive. Our two dishes together with 4 beer were a total of 50,000 TZS (about $25). Asante sana to the friendly staff and the talented cook for this culinary experience.
We stumbled over this place by chance. Its easily hidden in one of the narrow streets, but the roof is the best we have seen so far! Even better than the Zanzibar coffee place! Prices are similar to other restaurants such as the traveler café.
The roof terrace is great. The food we had at our two visits was delicious. The beef chocolate curry was very delicious. Probably not the cheapest you will find, but certainly less expensive then many of the tourist sites around.
Very nice dinner here on their amazing rooftop. Friendly staff and really nice food from island specials to burgers.
