Kena Beach - Zanzibar

We had an amazing stay at Kena. We were there for 4 nights but could have easily stayed more. Beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful setting with lush flowers and foliage, and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was good, but portions could have been a bit bigger and a bit more flavorful.

Real African hospitality. The management attaches great importance to quality vacations. the rooms are clean, they are cleaned regularly. The place, with flowers and plants, gives the place a real paradise atmosphere, all in the most beautiful and quiet place on the island. The food is impeccably delicious, we had a really good time, we would go back anytime. I miss the little Pomeranian “Tutu” already. thank you for everything. Melinda, Alexandra

We had such a lovely time with Hishma and the team at Kena where we enjoyed our honeymoon! We were treated like family and looked after very well. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was super friendly. The rooms are beautiful, the food delicious and the atmosphere very relaxing. We would highly recommend a visit here and wish we could return every year!

Incredibly courteous, extremely welcoming, a beautiful environment in an excellent location. the beach itself is worth the stay, but there are so many things to add. the bar staff are knowledgeable about their drinks, eating is unbelievable with local ingredients that are bought daily for great quality. there are two starter options, 2-3 dinner options and two to three whispers. we had no bad court. we were in the deluxe double room, which has a private garden, outdoor shower, indoor shower, massive bathroom, double sink, deluxe double bed and enclosed room for wc. it is incredibly quiet in the night. all air conditioning systems with a ventilator. the personal always helps and ensures that your stay is the best that it can be. they can book everything they need and have a pre-site diving center with baptism of activities, including mnemba island close. definitely worth a revisit.
