Veganko - Zagreb

I visited yesterday and got the breakfast package when I was hungry, so I thought it was perfect! but sadly, there was much too much black salt on the discarded tofu, it was too salty to eat and I was was wasting about half of it I am sure that their other products are beautiful. really good service at a decent price too. if I ever get back to zagreb, I would visit and try something else.

If you are looking for a good street food/ fast food place to eat. This is your place. They don't surprise with their List and ingredients. Only take away though. Veganko is new to Zagreb only a week or so old so I'll cut it some slack but I do find it sad that a business does not have the full menu that it advertises available. I really wanted a dessert even a cookie and nothing was available in the middle of a Saturday afternoon! Veganko do Beyond burgers and their own and a few other options besides. They have no seating as yet but there is a square with benches close by. I tried the truffle burger my friend the cheese burger. Both came in yellow burger buns Veganko like coloured burger buns! The burgers were good, meaty is the inevitable description meant in a positive way to describe the texture. The onions, salad and extras were very tasty too. I was hoping for some new vegan options, something Irish perhaps given Veganko was born in Cork but the menu is rather familiar. Still the burger went down a treat and I will be back to try out some other stuff and hopefully a dessert too. Went back twice, the burgers are good,! but both times I returned the menu was severely reduced or sold out, the last time they had no burgers at all! Not sure I’d use the word reliable for this place although it’s possible I,Ve just been unlucky. Updated from previous review on 2021-11-06

One of the best vegan spots we visited in the whole of Croatia. Creative fast food that made us jealous we didn't have it in our home town and that made me want to spend the next week perfecting caramelized onions.

Got a very tasty kfc-like' kebab after a long day, which was great. Though it took a bit long to prep considering it's a fast-food' window, so next time I'd order, ask for the time and go explore the neighbourhood instead of sitting on the stairs waiting.for the food
