Just putting this out there for any Coeliacs who are looking for delicious food in Zadar. Nothing came up when I looked for GF restaurants in the area then we stumbled upon the Garden Lounge this trendy restaurant/bar/cafe. It's situated right on the walls of the old town and looks out into the Harbour. It's menu is ENTIRELY gluten free (I nearly fell off my chair when they told me). It's vegan friendly and the new age type of food you would expect in Bali completely up my alley but not for everyone. Think raw pad Thai, tostadas, rice paper rolls etc. refreshing light food that makes you feel good. They have a huge menu of drinks ranging from smoothies to cocktails and the setting and vibe encourages you to stay there for the day. Trees, day beds, music not at all authentic Croatian but it's refreshing if you have been travelling for a while and want a taste of home (I am Australian).Sorry for the long review but I wish people wrote ones like this haha. Would highly recommend.Ps, it's just under Melbourne prices e.g main is about $14, cocktails $10, smoothies $7.You're welcome fellow coeliacs!

We visited in juni 2022 and they are currently not serving as a food, as a result of covid. they only have a drink menu at this time.
