The food was exceptional—definitely deserving of a 5-star rating. The service was equally impressive; the staff was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere, even for takeout, was inviting and pleasant. Plus, there was plenty of parking available for free, making it convenient to stop by. Overall, a highly satisfying meal that I would recommend!
All the one-star ratings for this place are completely justified. I come to this town and restaurant every few weeks for work and stopped by for lunch a few weeks ago. I was told the toaster oven was out of order, which limited my options considerably. The lettuce looked brown and unappetizing, but I decided to go ahead with my sandwich, thinking it was just a bad batch that had been out too long. Fast forward three weeks (today), and I return only to hear once again that the toaster oven is still broken, this time greeted with a dismissive attitude before I could even place my order. When I inquired about a specialty sandwich that needed to be toasted, I was informed there was no roast beef available for it anyway. I settled on a different sandwich, but the staff member practically hurled the ingredients onto the bun. Once again, the lettuce was brown and looked terrible. The person handling the register seemed to be in charge, just watching while the other employee did all the work. Both had a very poor attitude, and the service was unlike any Subway I’ve ever visited. The usual friendly inquiries like "How can I help you?" have been replaced with "What do you want?" This visit confirmed everything I’ve read in other reviews—poor attitude, unprofessionalism, and the toaster still broken after three weeks? It feels more like they simply don’t want to use it and find it easier to say it's out of order. I’ve noticed their frustration when customers ask for something to be toasted before. I’m surprised Subway as a chain hasn’t questioned this location, especially with all the low ratings. This town has plenty of hardworking, good people; it’s baffling why there’s such a negative attitude towards customers. Good luck, but you won’t be seeing any more of my money.
