Carnitas El Taste - Yuma

I absolutely love carnitas, and finding good ones can be quite a challenge. After trying this place, I knew I was hooked. This has become my go-to spot for carnitas! They were perfectly tender yet crispy, and the flavor was outstanding. I also tried their chile relleno (a pepper stuffed with cheese and dipped in egg), and it was simply fantastic.

I decided to change my previous review and write a new one. While I was waiting for my order, the owner and manager came out to address an incident that had occurred. They offered their apologies, explaining that the staff was new and a mistake had been made. Thankfully, the manager identified the error and corrected it. Although I was ready to pay for my meal, the owner insisted on giving it to me for free as a way to make up for the mistake. What struck me most was not the complimentary meal, but the sincerity of the owner's apology. I always enjoy my meals, and I don’t let a minor mistake overshadow that experience.

This restaurant is great! It had a nice, cool atmosphere, and the champurrado was spot on—it really hit the spot after a long day. The place was clean, the staff was extremely attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The fresh, handmade tortillas really enhanced everything. I will definitely return if I'm ever back in the area!

My band was in Yuma for midnight at the Oasis car show and coveted Mexican food for dinner. I chose this restaurant based on its reviews, and we were not disappointed. We arrived there an hour before closing and were received with friendly, fast service. I forget the name of the young lady who served us, but she had a big smile and Demeanor. I will start off with the service of staff. Came in today 12-8-22, great service, very friendly, the GM was extremely nice and helpful, she was on top of everything. For the food, I got a cheese quesadilla and the al pastor plate, the cheese quesadilla is one of my favorite foods so finding the perfect quesadilla is some times difficult, the one here was absolutely amazing, perfect crisp to the tortilla, the cheese was amazing, the quesadilla was perfect 10/10, the al pastor plate was some of the best al pastor Ive had since Texas 5 years ago, definitely a 20/10 lol, will definitely recommend this place, will also be back and can't wait for them to expand to Phoenix. Great food, great people, great customer service, great everything at this restaurant. Thank you.
