Soft drink was very expensive. They only open from 5 8:00. We enjoy eating outside in a seating area next to the restaurant. There were two employees working from a tiny shop, a cooking and a serving. Both were friendly and efficient.
Super simple food when we came back late to the town square. Ready in five minutes!
Being my first time in Central Australia, I was nervous about availability of vegan options, to say the least. But I shouldn’t have worried there is pretty much at least one vegan option everywhere. Ayers Wok is an example of that, except that they have four options on the menu, and can veganise other dishes too. Friendly and accommodating, but only open 5 8pm for takeaway. You can even charge purchases to your room if staying at the resort. A little bit greasy, but I’ll take it! Updated from previous review on 2022 08 08
Tiny little hole in the wall with one chef and one person taking orders. They were super helpful and the chef confirmed to my face which options were vegan. We had the spring rolls, veggie fried rice and vegetable stir fry noodles, all delicious! They were working so hard and pumping out delicious meals. We probably waited 10-15 mins and it was totally worth it. This place is takeaway only. Love it!
Although there are no specific vegan options on the menu, we were able to confirm with the chef that the vegetable dish and vegetable noodle dish are both vegan, as they come with tofu and are delicious. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. The restaurant is primarily a takeaway service, but there are some outdoor seating options available.
