Baanmairimnum Ayutthaya

Loving this place in Ayutthaya. It’s a river side restaurant serving Thai dishes really packed with both locals tourists. Plenty of seating space both indoors outdoors. Their most favourite dish is the grilled jumbo river prawns. It is sold by weight which has plenty of options. The prawns were grilled nicely, and the meat is succulent and sweet. Got the fried fish tom yum which has a clear soup, it was so refreshing. Also got the tom yum goong, which has a coconut milk soup. The portion is plenty and the taste is rich yet not overwhelming. Also got the fried fish with fish sauce served with mango salad, stir fry chicken with cashew, omelette, squid in salted egg sauce and stir fry mix veggies. All are nicely done and perfectly seasoned. Definitely going to come back again if visiting Ayutthaya.

The servers were very attentive. Most dishes were delicious, except the river prawns that I’ve had much better from other restaurants in Ayutthaya. There were some poor animals locked up in captivity at the entrance which wasn’t a good impression for me :

The food here was absolutely delicious. Its better id you have idea about Thai foods. If no idea, that is not a problem as well. You should let them know about your restrictions regarding food (if any). After order it takes 15 to 25 minutes to get a hot serving of your desired taste.... But surely you will be happy. Parking is a problem. They except credit card also.

Service was great. View was great. And the food was spectacular. I highly recommend this restaurant
