Restaurang Upp Eller Ner - Ystad

We had a great dinner here yesterday. The food was great and the staff were fantastic. We will be back for sure. Make sure you try the garlic break as a starter! Great for kids too!!

Okay food, a bit disappointed based on the stars here at Google though (4.2 when I visited). I had the classic burger, it had some BBQ sauce but otherwise not much taste. Service was great though! Really nice personnel! They also allow dogs by their outdoor seating.

Somewhat unexpectedly, Upp Eller Ner turned out to be an absolute gem to the point that we forgot to take photos of most dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and also a lot of fun . The cocktail list was short, but when we asked if they had something else (a whiskey sour they made one readily, quickly, and extremely well! The potato starter with a touch of India was delicious, as was the caviar. The lobster main was out of this world! (The fläskbog, bbq pork, was well composed but the meat was a tad too... compact. For dessert, we highly recommend the Oreo cheesecake and midsummer dream of strawberries. Nice seating outdoors, works even when it's rainy and a bit chilly there are both heaters and cozy blankets. We will certainly come back again.

Great location on the central town square with outdoor seating for the summer. Good service, good wine, ok food. The chark plate was nice although the meat did not seem very fresh the salami and prosciutto were gray), the veggie sweet potato gnocchi were very good, my husband’s steak was flavorful and cooked medium as requested but was served at room temperature.

We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. We enjoyed the fried pork belly and fillet of char, as well as a perfect combination of fried camembert with cloudberries, vanilla ice cream, and parsley. The food was so good that we returned for a second dinner during our stay in Ystad. This time, we tried the charcuterie starter, burger, lamb, and chocolate cream dessert, all of which were delicious and perfectly harmonized in taste.
