Dolores - Ypsilanti

Absolutely the best place to get some proper Mexican food and drinks. Atmosphere is low key and warm. As a California transplant, this food takes me home. As authentic as could be. They also have the best selection of tequila and mezcal anywhere around. Whether it's a date night or a spontaneous meal you will definitely be happy to find yourself in this wonderful restaurant.

This little Mexican restaurant is awesome! All other bars were cramped, this gem wasn't AND the food was AMAZING! The food is so good we ended up buying their signature salsa to take home, and the drinks were so good! My boyfriend got a rum and coke and they brought a glass with rum in it and poured a glass bottle of coke into it and gave him the rest of the bottle, it was like 2 drinks in one. And the Cherry Bomb was great! Highly recommend this place.

This was our first time visiting Dolores in Ypsilanti and we were very happy we came. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable. The service is some of the best I’ve had in the area. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delivered quickly and it was delicious. Great prices as well. If I had any criticism at all, I’d say maybe expand the draft list. I feel like in this area, that’s important. We will definitely make this a regular spot.

Dolores is a breath of fresh air in downtown Ypsi! The cocktails are delicious and made by great bartenders. They have really delicious vegan and vegetarian options... The vegetarian 'fish ' taco is hands down my favorite thing on the menu (I go without the crema to keep it vegan). They also frequently have love music or DJs and the atmosphere is clean, fun and funky. Check it out!

So happy to have this wonderful establishment back! Ate there tonight with a friend and everything from the food to the cocktails were impeccable. The flavors have both a depth and a lightness. The menu is thoughtful. I can't wait to have it be a part of our regular rotation again!
